Steezy Collective x Velocio x VIA mixed terrain Herts ride

Join the Steezy Collective to celebrate pushing boundaries as we meet at VIA for a gravel ride around London’s gravel lanes and return to VIA for a screening of the Lakeland 200 Part 2.  

The Lakeland 200 is a notoriously hard mountain bikepacking, hike-a-bike route through the mountainous passes of the Lake District. Prior to summer 2022 there had been no women on the Fastest Known Times (FKT) leaderboard. After touring the route in spring, the Steezy Collective wanted to change that. 

Recruiting seven experienced mountain-bikepacking racers, the Steezy Collective and Catherine Dunn documented their attempts to complete the route in 40 hours. With pouring rain, unfavourable conditions and plenty of mishaps, the team added a few more women to the elusive finishers list.
